Herotogen: The Hand That Points at Me
25 Years of Herotogen

by Jacob Whitmore, Steven Weber

This exhibition brings together new and past works by Jacob Whitmore and Steven Weber, tracing a 25-year journey through shadow and emergence. Each piece reflects a moment in the climb from the suffocating weight of despair and disassociation toward the awakening of the true self.

The collection invites the viewer into an intimate dialogue with the artists’ own confrontations—with grief, with trauma, and with the radical honesty required for rebirth. What begins in darkness opens into light, offering not only reflection but possibility.

At its heart, Herotogen is a meditation on transformation—on the courage to choose, the agency to change, and the discovery of a deeper, enduring sense of self-worth.

“The hand that points at me is the unseen force of love, guiding me home—reminding me of the unshakable truth: I am worthy of every dream that dares to arise within me.”
